About Olson Law PLLC & Mark Olson
Mark Olson has a long history in public affairs. He worked in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Sen. Henry M. Jackson and Congressman Lloyd Meeds while attending graduate school and George Washington University. Upon obtaining a law degree from the University of Washington and returning to Everett, he served on the City Planning Commission and the Charter Review Commission; he was also the first chair of the City Salary Commission.
Mark was elected twice to the Everett City Council, serving from 2002-2010. During this time, he also served as Vice Chair of the Sound Transit Board: member of the Everett Public Facilities District Board, 2003-2007; and chaired Snohomish County Tomorrow, the county’s regional growth management committee.
He has been actively involved with several nonprofit organizations, including 16 years with the Boys & Girls Club of Snohomish County, Everett Public Schools Foundation and the Everett Parks Foundation, which later become the Greater Everett Community Foundation.
Mark is licensed to practice law in Washington and Arizona. He is a member of the American Association of Justice and is a longtime EAGLE member of the Washington State Association for Justice.
His practice focuses on representing individuals who have been harmed by others’ negligence. He brings compassion, dedication, and a quarter century of litigation experience to representing people in their pursuit of justice.
Mark was born and raised in Snohomish County, where his family has been rooted for nearly 135 years. He is the proud father of three young men, an avid golfer, a history buff, and a movie-goer.
